Precision's "The Future of Metrology" Event a Great Success

Wow what an event! It isn't often you get a chance to see first-hand all the latest technologies. That's what made Precision's special Lunch & Learn Open House, showcasing breakthrough technology now available in metrology, so incredible.

Continual product demonstrations, combined with educational workshops, throughout the April 6th and 7th event gave visitors a chance to see products such as:

  • Faro Cobalt Array Imager - a metrology-grade, non-contact 3D scanner which utilizes Blue Structured Light Technology and Enhance Stereo mode to capture millions of high resolution 3D points in seconds.
  • Wenzel CMM with Renishaw PH20 5-Axis Probe System - allows measurement points to be taken by moving only the head, rather than the CMM structure. Points can be taken faster with improved accuracy and repeatability.
  • Wenzel exaCT Scanning Systems - are exceptionally powerful, compact and precise. These systems make 3D non-contact and non-destructive measurements of inner and out structures possible.
  • Starrett New Horizontal Digital Video Measurement System - combines the best features of a horizontal optical comparator and a vision metrology system.
  • Starrett Force Measurement Systems - are ideal for general purpose force testings, demanding high-volume production testing and exacting quality control testing. These universal testing systems are available in four load capacities.

Look for similar events in the future or contact the team at Precision to arrange your own hands-on look at the future of metrology in our showroom.
